Musings of Late

Writer's picture: Hannah BloodworthHannah Bloodworth

I am venturing out into the world of blogging and it feels good. I have loved to write and share images since the days of Myspace. And before that...scrapbooks!

When I was in my freshmen year of high school, around 2008, I picked up my first Teen Vogue with Mary-Kate Olsen on the cover. Just like most 90s girls, I was entirely *obsessed* with MK & A. I snatched that magazine right off the shelf at the grocery store and my mom lovingly bought it for me.

I remember poring over the pages in awe at all the pretty pictures. I know for many, magazines can feel frivolous, but I felt inspired. My artistic soul got out her notebook, scissors, and glue. I began cutting out images and text that spoke to me and gluing them into my notebook. Pages of collages of inspiration were born!

I think the invention of Pinterest particularly appeals to me for this reason. I absolutely love curating collections of musings and reflections to look back on to incite that creative spark. My love for the visual arts also pushed me to create this space where I can share in a more intentional way, where I can write my thoughts and maybe inspire others along the way.

Here are some things I've been 'pinning' lately...
