The first passion I remember having was for design. My favorite hobby was drawing up my dream home on sketchbook paper, spending hours on the little details. By the time I got to high school, I had filled up journals with my musings and vision - from style, random doodles, to home design.

I was the only little girl I knew who enjoyed spending time watching HGTV and helping her mom rearrange the house. In retrospect, I believe a large portion of my zeal for design comes from my mother's constant changing of things, an abundance of magazines, and of course the home and garden network.

By college, I was set on becoming an architect. While my career path didn't stay on this course, I've still maintained a love of all things beautiful.

This blog is a dedication to my first love in life. I hope that through sharing my reflections, style, and ideas I can create a space that sparks creativity and uplifts others.
